Sometimes, the best love stories begin long before you realize they're happening. Nick and I had known each other since elementary school, but somehow, our paths never truly crossed. That changed when nick Dj'd three of my cousins' weddings. It was at one of those weddings, in august, that I really noticed him. I had my eyes on him that night and in my mind, I already knew he was going to be mine. A couple of months later, on October 12 I added Nick on Facebook. That simple little friend request ended up being the beginning of everything. Before long we started talking, getting to know eachother, and spending time together. Our first time hanging out was shooting pool and from there it just kept growing. We spent nights talking, laughing, hanging out, and making memories around bonfires. What started so simply became something neither of us could imagine living without. Then came July 3rd. Nick asked me to marry him at Lake Fausse Point-  a place that means so much to me. Anyone who knows me knows that is my favorite place to vacation. It's peaceful, beautiful, and filled with some of my favorite childhood memories, especially the memories of camping there with my grandma while i was growing up. Of all the places he could have chosen, he chose a place that already held a piece of my heart. And there, a place that has meant so much to me for so many years Nick asked me to spend forever with him. Sometimes your paths have been crossing all along you just have to wait for the right moment to finally meet.
